Sharon Gail Cota, 84, of Evansville, IN passed away Monday, November 13, 2023. She was born in Evansville on September 3, 1939 to the late Charles Rohrbacher and Helen (McDonald) Rohrbacher.

She retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 after 30 years. Sharon attended Zoar UCC and CFC for many years. She was always there for her family in good and tough times. Sharon was the glue that held the family together. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and her rose garden.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cota; brother, Elmer Rohrbacher (Margaret); and sister, Patricia Dimmett.

She is survived by her brother, Victor “Larry” Rohrbacher (Connie Parker); sisters, Gladys Mason, Christina King and Charlotte Rohrbacher; 10 nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Cliff Herring followed by burial at Zoar UCC Cemetery, 4600 Church Rd., Evansville IN, 47720.

Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
