EVANSVILLE — The past week featured plenty of hot, miserable weather. It didn't stop several great performances throughout Southwestern Indiana for Week 2 of high school football.

O'Ryan Curry, Southridge

The senior went off on Saturday with 216 yards rushing on 25 carries and three touchdowns in an 18-0 victory against Boonville.

Antonio Harris, Castle

The senior had video-game numbers with 262 total yards (121 rushing, 141 receiving) on only eight touches and four touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Mater Dei.

Carter Holsworth, Jasper

The senior paced the Wildcats in a 39-0 win at Harrison with 131 yards rushing on 12 carries and three scores, all in the first half.

Matthew Meadows, Pike Central

The junior completed 10 of 14 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 68 yards and another score in the Chargers' first win over Tecumseh since 2006.

Keifer Sanderson, Reitz

The senior was instrumental in the Panthers' 23-7 win over Vincennes Lincoln, going 3-for-3 on field goals, including a school-record 51-yarder, and three touchbacks.

Elijah Wagner, Bosse

The senior did a bit of everything in a 48-6 win over Central: 192 passing yards and two touchdowns; 79 rushing yards and one touchdown; and a 65-yard touchdown catch.
